Welcome

Welcome to Black Atlanta Munch!

Established in July 2010, the Black Atlanta Munch (B.A.M.) group was created by and for Black persons and People of Color who desire to actively explore the Atlanta alternative lifestyle community and community-at-large through kink, BDSM, and Leather; we are a gateway. B.A.M. is an active supporter, lifestyle advocate, peer-mentor, and BIPOC affinity group. We are a private social and educational group of consenting adults who practice alternative lifestyle activities and power-centric relationships. Black Atlanta Munch first met at a local downtown pub and is the longest running BIPOC-centered munch in the state of Georgia!

Our primary goal and purpose of the Black Atlanta Munch group is to meet each month in order to foster acquaintances and friendships among all Black, Indigenous, and People of Color within the lifestyle. Our secondary goal is to collaborate within the kink, BDSM, and Leather communities-at-large to create inclusive social and educational opportunities with ALL partners, supporters, and allies/accomplices of BIPOC folks. Ultimately, we are creating a comfortable, relaxing, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and drama-free space for BIPOC folks.

Our schedule event will change based on COVID-19 current virus trends, policy of venues, cities, and states we gather in.

B.A.M. Regularly Scheduled Events:

  • Black Atlanta Munch (socials): Six munches within the year to create space for BIPOC kinksters and their supporters to socialize. Random lifestyle content will be delivered as requested or needed.
  • B.A.M. Discussion/Educational Munch: Quarterly Lifestyle Topic educational munches in which kink/BDSM topics are presented for discussion (fourth Thursday in January, April, August, and October).
  • B.A.M. Anniversary Play Party: Play party celebrating B.A.M.  “birthday” during the summer, space permitted [ON HOLD]
  • B.A.M. Annual Holiday Play Party: Annual kink/BDSM holiday themed play party each December

Regardless of lifestyle identity, gender, sexuality, kink, fetish, months or years of experiences in the lifestyle, we are creating a gateway for BIPOC folks and their supports. Our casual “social hour” will includes, but is not limited to: educational forums, demonstrations, collaborative gatherings, and supporting lifestyle events in and outside the Atlanta area. B.A.M. upholds SSC, PRICK, and RACK principles, as well as its own vetting and privacy policy. B.A.M. is kink, fetish, BDSM, Leather, and LGBTQ+ inclusive. We are pro-alternative lifestyles and sexual freedom.

If you are new to the kink, BDSM, or the Leather lifestyle or new to munches and have ANY questions, we are here to answer them or help/guide you in the right direction for answers. Just contact us!
